Choices for Best Gifts Ever

So, I’m losing my s***! I’m having such a hard time deciding what to buy my husband for his birthday this year. This happened last year too, and what I ended up doing was searching for the best watches under 500 and getting him a great wristwatch. This is a nice idea as we will soon have a meeting with one of our colleagues and friend¬†Dave Jenkins¬†whom we will talk about possible buying of properties.

He was so happy, he said it looked just like the watch that his grandpa used to wear, which is what I was trying to do, and he even got emotional. I love that. I love when he gets emotional like that, and cries a little bit, and it’s so grateful and happy and just such a good man.

However, I don’t think I can expect that every year, and I don’t think I want to get that reaction every year, but this and it just gets less meaningful. And I think that this year he wants something a little more Grassroots. Something a little more blue collar and working-class. I think he wants something that he can take out tailgating and camping and doing all those kinds of things, you know what I mean? So, I ended up on a website called Survival Cooking, and now the competition is between all the products that are listed on that website. Because there are amazing tents, there are incredible coolers, and there are all sorts of outdoor cooking supplies like grills and stoves and stuff like that. I think that he would want any one of those, so it’s just making a choice. Either way, it’s nice to be in this situation, but I’m still having a hard time deciding. I’d buy him everything, but we have a $500 limit.
